Spotlight on Psychic Medium Damian Marc

We grilled 12fortheSouls' resident Psychic Medium on what life's like when you see dead people for a living and got the low down the love of his life (spoiler- it's his son!)

How did you become a medium?

I was born with this gift, it was something I always knew I had but I pushed it to the side. I was told from a young age that I was crazy and spirits don’t exist. The more I pushed it aside the more my life started to unravel. One night in 2015 changed this when everything came to life. I found that I couldn’t ignore this anymore and the more I embraced my journey as a medium the better things became. I decided to branch out this year to put myself out there to make a difference. I take pride in every reading and I am grateful to be able to help people through difficulty.

Do you see Dead people?

(Laughs) Yes I do, loved ones present themselves to me in various forms, normally in an attempt to get validation and connect with their loved ones. I have strong spiritual protection around me which mean that  welcomed spirits who want to communicate with you. I also see and communicate with what I call “my spirit team” that consists of my guides John and Peter, I also have what they call a spiritual gatekeeper by the name of Ronald. He ensures no unwanted spirits are allowed around me and ensure only the pure souls to come in and communicate.

How do you read?

I always start with a meditation, then I communicate directly with my spirit guides on who is coming through, sometimes a Clients loved ones may not want to present themselves but want to be heard. In this case my guides will translate through my “Claire” senses to interpret what message they want to communicate. It’s good to remember spirit passes on what they want to pass on, at times people want validation or answers on certain topics, this may not always be the case.

Have you ever not been able to read someone?

NO. A good Psychic Medium should always be able to connect, even those clients who may try to block you. Spirit will always pass on information pertaining to the person I’m reading for. There are times when a lot of the information won’t make sense, I suggest to all my clients to write/record the information that comes through, sometimes validation will occur after the reading.

What’s the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?

The main difference between mediums and psychics can be confusing. In fact, many believe the terms are the similar in some way, but that is not the case. "Mediums are able to raise their vibration high enough to connect to the other side, "Psychics have the ability to give information about the past, the present, or even the future, but not deliver messages from the other side"

Can anyone be a Psychic Medium?

Everyone has the natural ability to some extent and every individual will interpret the signs in their own way. There are many training schools and courses that can help people develop this. It’s important to also use a reputable training school and teacher. I personally did my training through a well-known spiritualist church.

How long have you been reading?

I have been reading for people for over 10 years, I spent a lot of time reading for friends and family before I branched out to a wider audience. I’ve always loved to read to be able to make a difference to someone’s life; even a small bit of detail or validation can make someone’s day.

Can you tell us a little about real Life Damian?

I’m a single dad with one son, I live with him in Penrith NSW, where I was born and raised. When I’m not doing readings I love to spend time with my family, enjoy watching my little boy grow up and play sport. He keeps me grounded and reminds me what life is really about. In my downtime I love watching sport and in particular the NRL and my beloved Parramatta Eels.

I am passionate about travel and love to visit places of spiritual significance. One of my favorite places to visit is India, in particular Varanasi.
