The 12 Universal Laws

1. The Law of Oneness

The knowledge that everything is connected, that we are one. The belief that there is a universal consciousness that we are each a part of, that every living being on this earth has a connection both to it and to each other.

“In the heart of oneness, there is no superiority or inferiority; there is not even equality. There is only oneness-joy. It is not a competition-game, but a oneness-game.” Sri Chinmoy

2. The Law of Vibration

Everything has a unique vibrational frequency and anything that exists in our universe, whether visible or not, can be quantified as a frequency or an energetic pattern, even our thoughts and feelings.

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Nikola Tesla

3. The Law of Attraction

That which is like is drawn to itself. Positive thoughts draw positive thoughts and experiences in the same way, negative thoughts draw negative experiences and emotions.

“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, either way you are right.” Henry Ford

4. The Law of Correspondence

That our outer world is nothing but a reflection of our inner world, as above, so below, as within, so without. This law reminds us that our life is a mirror of what is going on inside our minds. Chaotic thoughts create a chaotic life. The same is true that a mind at peace will be reflected in your external world.

“All transformation is an inside job” Mitch Behan

5. The Law of Action

Manifestation requires aligned action, if you want something, you must put yourself in alignment with the actions that will bring that which you desire into being. The universe creates and provides for you that which your thoughts are focused on.

“An idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the brain cell it occupied.” Arnold Glasow

6. The Law of Cause and Effect

Indeed, we reap what we sow, as every action we take has consequences and the results will show up in our lives. Your actions create your reality.

“Shallow men believe in luck or in circumstance. Strong men believe in cause and effect.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

7. The Law of Compensation

The law of compensation says that you will always be compensated for your efforts and for your contribution, whatever it is, however much or however little. We are rewarded for right action.

“To whatever extent your mind is aligned with love, you will receive divine compensation for any lack in your material existence. From spiritual substance will come material manifestation. This is not just a theory; it is a fact. It is a law by which the universe operates. I call it the Law of Divine Compensation.” Marianne Williamson

8. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

Energy is always moving and transmuting in and out of form, everything, seen and unseen is constantly changing. We are constantly growing older and must evolve and grow, the desire to keep things as they are is ignorance.

“A shift of energy is always followed by a change in reality.” Panache Dasai

9. The Law of Relativity

It's all relative, Einstein’s theory states that the laws of physics are the same everywhere.

“When you are courting a nice girl, an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity.” Albert Einstein

10. The Law of Polarity

There are two sides two everything, if there is no bad, we have nothing with which to determine good. If there is no hate, how do we determine love?

The law of polarity is the principle that everything has two “poles”: good and evil, love and hate, attraction and disconnection. Think of the North and South Poles on a globe or a battery with its negative and positive terminals. Everything in the universe has an opposite. Everything is dual. And it’s what allows us to experience life to the fullest and appreciate the good in the world.” Tony Robbins

11. The Law of Rhythm

Nothing is permanent, the seasons change, the weather turns, everything is subject to cycles and patterns. It is never random.

"Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates."--The Kybalion

12. The Law of Gender

EVERYTHING requires a balance of energies, masculine and feminine, both are required for life to exist. Think of it not as gender, but as energy. Both are valued equally in nature.

“If we keep following masculine and feminine stereotypes, then we will make women suppress and despise their so-called masculine qualities and men suppress and despise their so-called feminine ones, and that’s where the trouble starts.” Gloria Steinem

It is plain for anyone to see that these laws are all limbs of the same tree, undoubtedly, we are all connected by some omnipresent current of universal love. All of us possess the power to change our lives by understanding these Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect change.
